Come for the coffee, stay for the cozy environment. Cafe Zing is such a nice place any time of year, to escape the cold in the winter or the heat in the summer. Porter Square books is an incredible independent book store, and a great place to spend time, so make sure to check out some books, socks or postcards when you stop by for a coffee. This is a great place to bring kids. The food itself is good as well, for breakfast I grabbed a freshly made chicken salad sandwich with grapes in it which was delicious, and super quick. Things are moderately priced, quick and delicious. The staff are always friendly. I highly recommend coming here with the intention to spend time inside.

Really excellent coffee. People behind the counter are very friendly. Can be hard to find a spot to sit sometimes. Outdoor seating in warm weather helps.

I just wanted to say that I came here because I saw the matcha review. And the current matcha definitely has a lighter color and just tastes like regular matcha you can get at any other coffee shops. But I still wanna say that this is such a cozy space to study or work and they have free wifi!! I love having the bookstore in the background :)

Come here for the drinks, stay for the community! A great selection of pastries and drinks hot and cold, but also so much more - a work space, a community space, a space just to exist! A great spot to do a bit of work, read a book, or catch up with an old friend. A big part of the appeal is the staff who are usually pretty friendly and lean into the community-oriented nature of the space. They also host regular events like musical performances, cycling club, and chess/board games!

Cozy little cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating areas, the staff are friendly and the service is quick. Their Vietnamese roll is really good.

Great coffee, great scone, but most of all, a lovely environment that is filled with books and the community itself. Great place to chat or do work, a welcoming place that clearly has a lot of love in it!

My favorite spot to grab a latte and meet people. Giving it five stars across the board even though the way they label the chai oat milk latte is dangerously close to calling it a choad.
